Curb Your Enthusiasm or Family Guy is usually what I watch at 9 on Sundays, but with the latter in repeats and the former also airing at 10, I took the opportunity to actually watch Desperate Housewives live for the first time in awhile, and I am glad I did. Katherine was awesome, being as devious and scheming as ever, and Susan is back to being "desperate" again, fighting K all the way into the bath tub. For the first time in a few seasons I think the writers have a clear idea of where the show is going and I think that is leading to a much better overall product. It looks like Marc Cherry and crew know whether Bree and Orson will get back together, what will happen with the new family on the block and how Lynette and Tom will react to their recent stumbles. My only wish is for a real storyline for Gabby, who has been awesome this season. She deserves something bigger than just being a parent to Juanita. |
